Lucy was 23 when she visited her mother, Phoebe, who was living alone. Her father left them when Lucy was no more than four. Phoebe was 56, and she was living alone for long years.
As Lucy wanted to help her mother, she then opened an account for a dating app, and put some pictures of her mother after she made a photoshoot.
Few days later, Phoebe had a match.
Lucy was talking with her friend from the work, Natalie, and she explained that her mother has a match. Then they noticed that their boss, Mike, was glued to his phone. He was constantly smiling when he was looking at his phone.
They thought that Mike was talking to a woman. They wanted to know who he was talking to. Then they made a plan.
Natalie asked a question about a report to Michael and when he left his phone at the table, Lucy checked the phone and was shocked with the name she saw on the screen.
Her boss, was talking with her mother from the dating app Lucy signed her mother in. They agreed on a dinner date. She then took the date and decided to follow her mother in her date.
Then she made another plan. She tricked Michael with a report written with wrong numbers. As he was dealing with the numbers, she took Michael’s phone and sent her mother a message from Michael’s account. She wrote that Phoebe should stop bothering him as he needed to focus on his job and career.
She then “accidentally” dropped the coffee on the phone and Michael’s laptop. She was upset that she made terrible things, but she didn’t want her mother to be with her boss.
When she talked with her mother, she learned how devastated she was. She was already lonely, and now she was also feeling depressed and unwanted.
She then decided to make things right. She revealed the truth to her mother. She couldn’t understand why Lucy did such a thing. Then she talked with her boss too, and revealed that she wanted to make things right.
She arranged a dinner at her mother’s place, while Michael and Phoebe were outside. Then called them in, and left the home for their romantic evening.
Few months later, Lucy was planning their wedding, as her mother was happy with her boss.
