While Amy was relaxing on her couch, and waiting for her wedding day to come, her phone buzzed. A colleague from her workplace, Claire was messaging her. They were not close, but Claire was a good person.
She sent a picture of a couple at a spa, which was captioned as, “Isn’t this your fiance?”
Amy was frozen with shock. In the picture, her fiance Mark was with his ex-girlfriend, Amanda, lying next to each other on the poolside at a spa.
She wanted to throw her phone at the wall, she wanted to break some stuff. She wanted to scream and cry…
Then she decided to stay silent. She was going to take her revenge. She waited for mark to “return from visiting his mother,” and worked on a plan.
As he returned, Mark hugged and smiled as he asked about Amy’s weekend. “Not as relaxing as yours!” Amy responded.
Then she showed the picture Claire sent. Mark was shocked, and mumbled some words as he tried to lie. He was panicking. Then he promised that he will change and begged Amy not to leave him.
She said, “In one condition only, you’ll need to prove it.” Then she took Mark to hiking on the next morning. He was not a sports man, as he was fat. He immediately accepted.
Mark was at Amy’s door at 5 a.m. It was going to be hell for Mark. They went to a steep hiking parkour. In few minutes, Mark was covered with sweat. He was constantly asking, “How much longer?”
Despite they had a long way, Amy would say each time, “Just a bit more!”
He wanted to take a break, but Amy refused each time. Mark was having trouble breathing. He was not used to hiking. After eight hours, they were at the top. He threw himself to the ground as they stopped.
As Mark was happy that Amy would accept him again, she yelled, “WE ARE DONE BABY! FIND YOUR OWN WAY BACK DOWN!”
