Brenda was visiting her son, Christopher’s grave. He was 27 when he passed away in a car accident. Brenda was incredibly hurt from that incident, as she spent a year in a clinic to recover from her son’s passing.
As she recovered, she was now visiting her son’s grave once again. As she left the metro station, she saw her widowed daughter-in-law, Harper. Brenda was thinking of visiting her too after her son’s grave.
As she approached to her, Harper meanly responded to Brenda. She wasn’t expecting that kind of a response from her daughter-in-law. Harper stated that she wasn’t Harper, and went away quickly.
When she reached to her son’s grave, after that weird encounter with Harper. She cried, and got upset as she touched Chris’ gravestone. Next to her, she then noticed another gravestone, which belonged to Harper.
She was shocked. Her daughter-in-law had passed away a week ago, and nobody told her about that. But who was that woman at the metro station, the carbon copy of Harper?
After talking with the cemetery’s groundskeeper, she couldn’t gather any information. Then, she decided to talk with her son’s best friend and business partner Jake.
When she arrived at Jake’s doorstep, he was shocked to see Brenda. As he invited her in, Jake revealed that the company went bankrupt after Chris passed away.
It was a weird coincidence. First she saw Harper, then she found Harper’s gravesite, and now she learned that her son’s company went bankrupt. It was not normal, since she would have heard at least one thing.
As she questioned Jake, Brenda learned that Harper inherited the company, and since she had no experience as a manager, she destroyed their business, and stole the loan money and escaped.
Brenda was suspicious of both Jake and Harper. As she asked to stay in Jake’s house for the night, Jake first stated that he had a flight early in the morning, then accepted.
When Jake went to sleep, Brenda searched through Jake’s luggage, and found a ticked for a woman named Sarah. She believed that it was Harper actually.
When the morning arrived, she informed the authorities, and they started to wait for Jake and Harper at the airport. Once they were spotted together, they rushed in and arrested them both for fraud.
