Danny was a great father to his children. Molly always loved her husband for that reason. He was a devoted father. They welcomed five daughters in their marriage, but Danny always wanted a son, “to carry on the family name.”
He would always insist on the sixth child, as he would think that this time it will be a boy.
Molly asked that if they are going to have babies until a son, and isn’t five daughters are not enough.
Danny would insist. They were occasionally fighting for that reason, and one day, Danny threatened Molly with divorce. He stated that if she refuses to have a baby, he would divorce.
She couldn’t sleep that night. How he could ever say that, or even think of that. Molly was the mother of his daughters. Then she decided to teach him a lesson. When morning arrived, before Danny woke up, Molly packed a bag and went to her mother’s cottage. She turned her phone off, and relaxed the day.
While Danny was getting ready to work, he was also trying to keep his daughters in order. He couldn’t find Molly in the house once he was awake, and he couldn’t reach to her via phone too.
He burned the toast he prepared for the children, and spilled orange juice to everywhere with frustration. The girls wanted pancakes, then some other wanted eggs and cake, then their youngest one wanted waffles.
It was pure chaos. The day went like that. When Molly returned on the evening, Danny begged her not to leave again. He cried as he understood how arrogant he was. He apologized, and never ever asked for the sixth baby.
