Rosie and Tim were at the hospital. Their daughter, Amelia was born. While they were cuddling and watching their baby, Tim’s mother Janet barged in. She immediately took Amelia and examined her face, and then turned her gaze at Tim for several times.
Shockingly, Janet accused Rosie with cheating Tim. She stated that Amelia was not from Tim. Before she could say anything, Janet left the room. Rosie was crying as she held her daughter.
Two weeks had passed, and it was time for them to return back home. Rosie worked hard for her daughter’s nursery. It was beautiful, colourful.
But as they went inside, they were shocked. They were stunned with the sight of black painted nursery, and everything in there were destroyed. Her baby’s crib was destroyed and it was lying on the ground.
Then Janet started to talk, who was in the house before they arrived. She revealed that she “fixed” the room.
“She’s NOT my grandchild. Look at her. She’s not Tim’s. Both you and Tim are WHITE, but this baby is NOT. I’m not accepting this child into this family.”
“Janet, we’ve talked about this. Genetics can be unpredictable. And as you know, Tim’s great-grandfather was Black. Amelia IS TIM’S DAUGHTER.”
Janet yelled and left the room. Then Rosie called Tim and told him to come home. Once he came back, he was shocked with the sight of their nursery. She then went into kitchen and found Janet in there. She started to secretly record from her phone and asked questions to Janet about the nursery.
“I told you, Rosie. That child isn’t Tim’s. She’s not my granddaughter. I’m not accepting her into this family.”
“But why? Just because of her skin colour?”
“Of course! You and Tim are both white. This baby’s skin is dark. She’s clearly not his. You’ve been unfaithful, and I won’t let you trap my son with another man’s child. You’re such a disgrace to this family, Rosie.”
She then took pictures of the nursery, and shared everything from her social media. Then Tim arrived and asked, “WHERE IS SHE?”
He started to yell at his mother, as he kept saying that Amelia was his own daughter, his flesh and blood. He then said that if she can’t accept that she will never see his family and himself again and kicked her out.
Then Janet pulled Tim’s hair, and incredibly, Amelia’s hair too. She then rushed back home. She was so sure that Amelia was not Tim’s daughter, she shared the results of DNA test without even looking at them.
As people were precisely learned that Tim was Amelia’s father, she never realized the mistake she made. But she lost her family through her actions, and lived as a lonely, sad old woman.
