May was only a newborn when her father left home. As her mother was working as a stewardess, she wouldn’t be at home to care for her daughter, so she gave her to an orphanage.
She was raised in an orphanage running by a church in Atlanta. While she was studying to be a stewardess, her mother would spend the holidays with May, and other times when she was in the town.
When May was 16, she wanted to study art, while her mother Erin didn’t want her to study art, and instead she wanted May to study medicine and be a doctor.
After their fight, they became estranged. She then went to Savannah. A year later, Amy was studying in a Fine Arts programs.
For 16 years, she didn’t talk with her mother. She also voluntarily worked for the orphanage she was raised in. She would attend to the children in there.
One day, she thought about her mother, and decided to talk to her. Erin tried to contact to her after May moved to Savannah. But May changed her contact.
Now at the age of 32, Amy decided to talk to her mother, where she became the CEO of a designing firm. She returned to Atlanta.
On her way back, her car broke down, and she had to wait for someone to help her. Then a car stopped, and offered help. She asked if the man can take her to Atlanta.
The man gladly accepted and took her in his car. While they were talking, the man, Curtis, learned that Amy was raised in an orphanage. She then wanted Curtis to drop her close to the orphanage she was raised in.
When she went in there, sister Julie recognized her. They talked for a while. And then a little girl entered into the room and asked help from sister Julie.
The little girl was looking exactly like her. She was shocked. Then Julie told her a story about the little girl, Cindy.
Cindy was her sister. Years after Amy was gone, Erin married a man named Kevin. They had a daughter, Cindy. Later, Kevin abandoned Erin and Cindy.
Sadly, Erin passed away in a plane crash.
Amy couldn’t believe that her mother was gone, and then she felt incredible guilt for staying away from her mother for that many years.
She wanted to meet with Cindy properly, and that she wanted to be her guardian. A day after, the files were ready to proceed.
