Mary was at the 34th week of her pregnancy. In few weeks, she was going to held her baby in her arms. She was with Daniel for five years, as they were happily married.
Since her mother’s house burned down when she was 17, she had a fear so she wanted a fire alarm in her house. At first Daniel laughed it off, but then accepted once he realised that Mary was serious with her fear.
One day, Daniel brought his friends home, and they stayed until it was very late. Mary talked with Dan and stated that she wants to rest and they are making too much noise. She wanted her husband’s friends to go away.
As Mary went back to her bed upstairs, Daniel yelled, “Mary, honey, get up! Get up! Fire, fire, fire! Get up!”
Mary was scared to death and she rushed downstairs with her pregnant state. Then she heard the laughter from her husband and his friends. Mary couldn’t understand what was happening.
They thought it would be funny to mock with Mary’s fear, in her pregnant state. “How could you do this to me? How could you play with my fear like this?” Mary yelled as she was uncontrollably crying.
When the morning arrived, Mary packed her belongings and went to her mother’s house. Daniel did what he shouldn’t as she thought that she can’t forgive him.
No matter how much Daniel tried, the last time he saw her was the time when Mary handed him the divorce papers.
