Dan and Rachel were a great suburban family where they were living a great life with their four-year-old Ethan.
As Rachel joined a fitness class, she met Mary. They became great friends in a short time. Mary had a daughter, Cindy, and she was a single mother.
Their time together was feeling great as those times would remind Rachel her college times. They would love spending time together on their own.
As weeks passed, one day Rachel invited Mary for dinner. Mary would bring her daughter Cindy to play with Ethan, while they would drink their wines.
When the time arrived, and Rachel welcomed Mary inside with Cindy, Dan slowly walked downstairs to greet and met Mary. As Mary saw Dan, she screamed, “YOU LITTLE… I’M CALLING THE POLICE!”
“WHAT?” Dan was confused. “I’ve seen you for the first time! What is happening? Is this a joke?”
Mary then stated that Dan was Cindy’s father who abandoned them years ago. Rachel was shocked and asked to Dan that if that was the truth.
Then Mary pulled her phone and showed a picture, where Dan was smiling in the picture where he was with Mary.
“Baby what’s happening. I don’t know this woman!”
Mary screamed, “OF COURSE YOU WOULD DENY IT YOU LIAR!”
When Mary asked for a DNA test, it was time for Dan to tell the truth. He revealed that he indeed Cindy’s father. He told them that he was afraid to lose Rachel and Ethan, so that’s why he lied. He apologized many times, but this was a damage that would destroy their marriage.
Rachel kicked him out of the house, and divorced immediately. She kept the custody of Ethan, and stayed in a good friendship with Mary, where they would comfort each other.
