Julia Roberts is one of the most beautiful actresses in Hollywood. She had romantic relationships with Kiefer Sutherland, Lyle Lovett, Liam Neeson, Dylan McDermott, Matthew Perry, and Jason Patric.
But none of the men stayed with Roberts in the end. When it was 2000, she met with her husband. He was together with Benjamin Bratt at that time, while her husband was with Vera Steimberg.
After meeting with each other, they decided to be together and broke up with their partners at that time. Despite Danny Moder filed to divorce Vera Steimberg, she refused for six months.
In her interview with Oprah, Roberts stated that she was not the reason of the divorce between Moder and Steimberg. But people kept blaming her. After Oprah’s quesitons, Roberts stated that she was friends with Moder, and they got closer through the movie they worked together.
As Steimberg refused to let go of her husband, Roberts was spotted wearing a t-shirt imprinted on it “A Low Vera.” When Roberts was asked of her choice, “I stand by my T-shirt,” she said.
“She’s a husband stealer. It won’t last with her anyway. She will be looking for a new husband within a year. Danny has a roving eye, and he won’t change,” Vera Steimberg also said.
As the reports are suggesting, Roberts paid $200,000 to Steimberg for her to let Moder go. In 2002, Roberts and Moder got married.
In her interview with Oprah, Roberts explained that Moder is allowing her to be herself. That she is not feeling someone who is not herself. She is the true version of herself.
“I hope that there are people who agree that I have done some good, kind things in my life, but to really, ultimately, stand fully in a moment of realizing that I was born to love and to be the wife of this man.” Roberts shared.
When it was 2004, Roberts and Moder welcomed their twin children, Phinnaeus and Hazel. Then three years later, Henry arrived. Roberts and Moder are keeping their children’s lives private.
“You just don’t know these things until you are right there doing it. And we are so fortunate that there is harmony to the way we do things.” Roberts said about her and Moder’s parenting style.
“It is my dream come true. But it is not my only dream come true,” she added that being a fulltime mother was her dream.
“He truly, to this day, to this minute, is just my favorite human,” Roberts said of her husband. “We just really really like each other, and we just enjoy each other’s company.”
