The legendary actress is no other than Dawn Wells. She had an amazing career, but sadly, not as thrilling personal life as her career. She only had one marriage, with Larry Rosen.

After their short period of married life, they stayed friends with their divorce. 1967 was a tough year for Wells, as she had lost her father too.

In an interview, Wells revealed that she had crushed on some people from the sets she had worked on. Some names are Bob Denver, Russell Johnson, Tina Louise, and Alan Hale Jr.

As Wells never found a man to live until the end, she had one special person in her heart. Her long-time partner, a man named Tom. Wells stated that Tom had touched her heart.

They spent 15 years together, as Wells explained in her book. She found love with Tom, and she even moved to Nashville for his sake. Tom had two daughters, and for that reason, Wells didn’t want to live together with him.

Wells explained that she took her reasoning from her young age, from the days of Stephen’s College in Columbia, Missouri.

After her role with “Gilligan’s Island,” Wells thought that her time had come. She received many roles after that show. She had appeared more than a hundred productions, and that she didn’t make much money from them. Her main source of money was from her movies.

But as time passed, she had struggled financially, even so her friend and hair stylist Dugg Kirkpatrick launched a GoFundMe page for her in 2018.

Kirkpatrick revealed that Wells lost everything she got in 2008 crisis, and had health issues like a broken knee. She also didn’t have any family members who would help her, and a home.

Her fans raised more than $250,000 to help Wells. After that, Wells had thanked to her fans from her Facebook account where she was amazed with the love her fans had for her.

Sadly, Wells lost her life at the age of 82, in 2020, in Los Angeles due to coronavirus.
