Amy and her father were about to walk down the aisle, towards the altar where her husband-to-be, Marty was waiting for her. She was nervous while her father was looking at her with teary eyes.
Everything was perfect, and were going according to the plan.
Despite Marty was a prankster in their friend group, he was a gentleman against Amy. He was kind, and there whenever Amy needed him.
He helped a lot while Amy was planning the wedding. He gave ideas, cook food for her when she was exhausted, and cared for her.
“That’s what you’re supposed to do when you love someone,” he once said to Amy, when she asked why he was this supportive.
Everything at the wedding was going according to the plan. Things were great. Marty was joking with his friends while he was trying to ease his nerves.
Then she walked down the aisle, and met Marty at the altar. As they were about to exchange their vows, Amy saw a group of people behind the venue, who were carrying a coffin dressed with a bow on top.
The whole wedding went silent, as they watched the arriving coffin. She thought Marty was making another prank, but she saw that he was looking surprised as the rest of the wedding.
Then the best man, Derek, walked towards the coffin, and opened it with a grin. There was a big portrait of Marty in there, where another huge bow was on top of the portrait.
Then the truth unfolded. The friends of Marty made a prank. The coffin and the portrait were symbolising the “death” of Marty, who were getting married.
“I had no idea,” Marty turned to Amy, who was laughing. “I swear, I didn’t know they were planning this.”
Then the whole wedding fell into laughter. What started with terror turned into a comedy show.
