Nicolas Cage, the 60-year-old legendary movie star of Hollywood, welcomed his son, Weston, with his ex, Christina Fulton. Sadly, the grandparents are not allowed to see their twin granddaughters.
Weston got married with Hila in 2018. Nicolas Cage was not present at the wedding, while Christina Fulton, great-uncle Francis Ford Coppola, and great-aunt Talia Shire were there.
Cage was away, shooting a movie during that time, as a source shared. The source added that Cage wished to be with his son in his wedding.
At the wedding, Weston talked about his bride Hila as, “To marry the sacred individual that the universal mind created me for is the greatest honor I’ve ever received. She is the divine incarnation of everything I love and the owner of my heart.”
They welcomed their twins Cypress and Venice. The twins were born during the pandemic. Sadly, their marriage didn’t last long and to this day, it still is waiting to be resolved.
After the divorce, Weston and Christina had acted with defamation lawsuits against Hila. They accused Hila with spreading false information through a blog, social media and some media outlets.
Christina allegedly shared that Hila created problems, and took their twin grandchildren away from Nicolas. Fulton also stated that Hila manipulated her son to file a restraining order against her when the twins were born.
“Hila is stonewalling the entire family with her smear campaign. She has created a hostile narrative and environment that makes it impossible for the family to see or have a relationship with the children both privately and publicly,” Christina Fulton said.
Cage and Fulton want to be in the life of their twin granddaughters. They want to end the feud within the family, and be reunited with their granddaughters. “In these trying times, our family’s resilience is tested. But we remain committed to overcoming these challenges and restoring our family’s harmony,” Fulton said.
Weston talked about how his father encouraged him as he stated, “I think it was definitely encouraged, but everyone predicted that I would become an actor just because I spent the majority of my childhood getting together with friends and creating stories and having it videotaped.”
Nicolas Cage also praised his son as he shared, “Weston is what I call the total artist. He can do things I dream about doing…compose music, sing, act, sculpt, and cook and now he is a loving father.”
Unfortunately, Weston struggled with addiction as he had a nasty split from Nikkie Williams. After he welcomed his son Lucian from his ex-wife Danielle, he went to a good path.
“It got to the point where people thought I was digging my grave.” Weston said. “Lucian’s saved both of our lives, and we are very blessed to have him. It’s just a very joyous time right now.”
Nicolas Cage talked about how he loves to spend time with his grandson Lucien as, “I love it. Every second.”
Cage has another son, Kal-El, from Alice Kim. He even revealed that he turned down two big franchise for he wanted to be with his family.
“I turned down ‘Lord of the Rings’ and ‘The Matrix’ because I didn’t want to go to New Zealand for three years or Australia for three years because I needed to be home with my son Weston, that’s a fact,” Cage said.
