TRANSFORMATION OF 70S TEEN IDOL, LOOK AT HIM AT THE AGE OF 66

The actor became popular after ABC show. He appeared in both acting and singing industry. He later left his stardom, and stepped away from the spotlight. The transformation he had in his life surprised people.

His childhood was spent between Los Angeles and New York City. He signed with Warner Bros. Records while he was in high school and received three multi-platinum albums. He had sold-out shows in the nation.

“By the time I became successful at 18, three other people in my family had already been wildly successful,” the star said.

“My father was a matinee idol on Broadway, my mother was an Academy Award winner at 24, and (his half-brother) David was a very big pop star,” the star name also stated.

“I have a weird career. I had a very explosive first act and then at 21, went into hiding. And I don’t know what inspired that other than I think I was not necessarily wanting to continue on the path of a performer.”

In 1980, he told his audience of 55,000 at the Houston Astrodome that he would see them soon, and then he left his career and stepped out of the spotlight. “I’m still trying to figure it out. But I do think going away from it saved it for me.” The star name said.

Shaun Cassidy lived like these, while his half-brother, David Cassidy had a different teen idol experience. “The Partridge Family,” was the show he had his breakthrough. He had struggled with addicition.

In 2008 he openly talked about his addiction, and later in 2014 he went into rehab. Shaun talked about the struggle of his brother in those years.

Shaun stated that seeing his brother like that was devastating. It was a painful experience for himself.

David passed away in 2017, after liver and kidney failure.

“I loved and adored him and he was as funny a guy as you’ll ever meet,” Shaun said after his passing.

Shaun married for three times. His first marriage was with Playboy model Ann Pennington. They welcomed two children, Caitlin and John Cassidy.

Later, Shaun married actress Susan Diol. They welcomed a daughter, Juliet Cassidy.

He is currently married with TV producer Tracey Lynne Turner, since 2004. They welcomed four children, and that made Shaun a father of eight.

At the age of 66, Shaun is still receiving praising comments from his fans on social media. When he posts a picture, people still call him “handsome and amazing.”
