Elly burnt the third marshmallow too, which made Tommy squeak. He was laughing at his mother. Sarah and Dan, her daughter and husband, were laughing too.
Then the children wanted to hear a scary story. Dan said that their mom might get scared. The children defended their mother as they said that their mother is get scared of nothing.
Then Dan told a scary story about a camper who forgot to bring a bug spray and got eaten by mosquitoes. Elly was laughing this time.
Then it was time for sleep. They ate, talked and had fun. Now they needed to rest.
The children, Dan and Elly went into their big tent. They went into their sleeping bags. Few hours had passed. Then they started to hear some noise out of their tent. Something was sniffing and breathing heavily.
Dan slowly peeked, and he sighed with a relief. It was a dog. As everyone were asleep now, they went out and decided to feed the dog.
As Dan was searching the bags, the dog barked at darkness. Then, they saw it. There were two big eyes, shining in the darkness of the forest. As the eyes slowly approached, they noticed the big grizzly bear.
Elly screamed, “CAR! NOW!”
They rushed to their car. The dog barked and it was acting as if he was trying to buy them some time. Before Dan shut the door, the dog jumped in. The bear waited out of the car for few minutes, and then left.
Few hours later, the family and their saviour left the car. They gathered their belongings from the campsite, and went back to their car.
Everything was in the car now, and they were waiting for their new family member to get in. When Tommy called the dog in, little fellow jumped inside with his wiggling tail. He earned his name, Bear.
