On the 2nd of October, Kate Middleton welcomed a cancer patient photographer while she was handling her engagements at Windsor Castle. This was her first publicly pictured royal appearance since she returned to her duties.
16-year-old Liz Hatton, who was struggling with an aggressive tumour, smiled next to Princess Kate and Prince William, as her family also was with her.
During the photoshoot, Princess Kate and Liz had a warm hug, and that was shared by the official social media account of Prince and Princess of Wales.
As Princess’ intentions were good, some people were not having the same vibe as a person commented, “A hug that says ‘look at my healthy color-treated hair’ will speak volumes. IJS 🤔.”
“How did Catherine not lose any hair after chemo?” A different user commented while another one added, “How come that all the real cancer patients are without hair on their head and your hair is longer and longer?!”
No matter what people commented, Middleton’s return to public duties is a significant event in this year, since Middleton also struggled with cancer and returned to her duties as she became cancer free.
