Emily was a 35-year-old marketing consultant. As her job required from her to, she would travel a lot. Again, she was on a plane to San Diego for a meeting. Her schedule was tight.
She even picked an aisle seat since she needed to leave quickly. As she boarded the plane, she saw that a man was sitting next to her seat. The man was looking like a man of importance, and he was looking incredibly arrogant.
As the plane took off, half an hour later, the food service started. Emily was hungry since she didn’t eat nothing that morning. Then she went to the restroom as she needed.
But when she went there, she found herself in a queue. She didn’t want to miss food service, she was praying for it. As she made her way back to her seat, she couldn’t believe what she saw. Her food was gone, and the man next to her was eating his second meal.
She asked that if they brought her food, and the man explained that since she was gone, he thought that she wouldn’t eat it. So, the man ate it.
Emily was shocked. As she talked back at the man, the man was arrogantly stating that it was just a food. When the flight attendant arrived back, Emily asked if there were any food left, and the flight attendant explained that there were only some pretzels left.
As she was upset, Emily took a bag of pretzels. She had no other option. The man next to her, after eating two meals, leaned back and fell asleep.
Emily decided to focus on the presentation she will present at the meeting. They started to land, and Emily noticed that the man next to her was still sleeping. As it was a connecting flight, the gates had been changed and an announcement has been made about that change. The man didn’t hear it.
Emily didn’t wake the man, and went on to the gate, where her plane was waiting.
