Sofia Vergara and Joe Manganiello got divorced after seven years of marriage in 2023. The former couple released a joint statement where they shared, “As two people that love and care for one another very much, we politely ask for respect of our privacy at this time as we navigate this new phase of our lives.”
Two months after their separation, Manganiello was rumoured to be with Caitlin O’Connor. A source claimed that the two met at a party for HBO’s Winning Time.
“The first time they met in the hot tub and they were talking the whole time!” the source said.
“They’re going to get engaged soon [and then] start trying for kids,” another source added. “Marriage is definitely in their future.”
On the other hand, Vergara revealed that she didn’t wanted any other child than her 32-year-old son Manolo Gonzalez Vergara, from her ex-husband Joe Gonzalez, was the reason of the failure of her second marriage.
“My marriage broke up because my husband was younger,” Vergara shared. “He wanted to have kids and I didn’t want to be an old mom. I feel it’s not fair to the baby. I respect whoever does it, but that’s not for me anymore.”
In 2023, Vergara started dating Justin Saliman, who had a marriage with Bree Turner.
While Vergara was promoting her Netflix show, Griselda, “Now I need a husband,” she said. “No, I don’t need a husband; I want one. It doesn’t even have to be a husband. A partner.”
Then a source talked about the couple. “Sofia didn’t think she’d meet someone so perfect for her, Justin checks off all the things she wants in a partner.”
“He’s handsome, independent, smart, makes Sofia feel safe, and he’s not an actor…It’s no wonder why she wants to marry him!”
