ROYAL EXPERTS COMMENTED ABOUT THE CLASH BETWEEN KATE MIDDLETON AND QUEEN CAMILLA

After the passing of late Queen Elizabeth II, coronation of King Charles and Queen Camilla happened at Westminster Abbey. Even Prince Harry attended to the ceremony, where he came from United States, after he left his royal duties with his wife, Meghan Markle.

Prince William and Kate Middleton were there too with their children, as they are important figures in the royal family. But there were some comments about a problem between Middleton and Queen Camilla, as the Prince and Princess of Wales arrived late for the ceremony.

Through time, Middleton had become an important figure for the royal family, where the princess was even considered to be a big part for Meghan Markle’s absence at the coronation.

As the reports are suggesting, Prince Harry left the coronation as soon as King Charles and Queen Camilla left the Westminster Abbey. While Prince Harry attended to the coronation, his wife Meghan Markle and their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet stayed back in United States.

The royal author Tom Bower had stated that Kate Middleton was involved with the absence of Meghan Markle. The royal author said that Middleton didn’t want Markle to be present at the coronation.

“I think we must all be grateful that Kate, in the end, I think, prevented Meghan coming and said she wouldn’t have her there under any circumstances,” Tom Bower shared.

On the other hand, many important names from all around the world had attended to the coronation, where the royal family members of other countries and ministers were present. Queen Camilla’s family were also there.

Queen Camilla had two children with her ex-husband, Andrew Parker Bowles. Their children Tom Parker Bowles and Laura Lopes gave Queen Camilla five grandchildren. From her son she welcomed Lola Parker Bowles and Freddy Parker Bowles. From her daughter she welcomed, Eliza, and twin sons, Gus and Louis.

Three of her grandchildren were at the Pages of Honor, and also her sister Annabel Elliot was there. Her friend the Marchioness of Lansdowne, and her nieces Alice Irwin, Katie Elliot, Ayesha Shand, and nephew Ben Elliot were at the Westminster Abbey too.

“Camilla’s family are very much front and centre at this event, and that is interesting as this is a state occasion, and they are usually totally private,” royal reporter of ABC, Victoria Murph, shared.

“Camilla’s family being so involved and visible does send, I think, a message about just how important she is to Charles’ reign and very much reminds us that this is their Coronation, not just his.”

While Queen Camilla’s guest were crowded, Kate Middleton had only four guest present, which is said that was a problem for the princess. Middleton had her sister Pippa Middleton, brother James Middleton, and parents Carole and Michael Middleton at Westminster Abbey.

Tom Bower stated that this created an issue in the royal family, between Queen Camilla and Kate Middleton, to be precise. The royal author also shared that Middleton were motionless while the King and the Queen were leaving the Westminster Abbey.

“Camilla bought twenty Parker Bowles’ to the coronation, and there were four Middleton’s,” Bower said in his interview with TV host Dan Wooton.

“And what was even more noticeable was at the Windsor concert the following day, William makes no reference to Queen Camilla. So, there is a tension there.”

“If you look at the Coronation footage, as the King and Queen leave the thrones and head for the exit of Westminster Abbey, you’ll see that everyone bows and curtsies to the King and no one moves a limb, a muscle when Camilla passes,” Bower added.

“And that’s because they were angry with her. No-one moves. Kate and William were angry too. That anger went right through that small part of the congregation by the throne at the centre of Westminster Abbey. And in that moment it was absolutely noticeable to those people who had been excluded that nobody – let alone Kate – curtsied to Queen Camilla.”

A different royal expert, Kinsey Schofield stated that Queen Camilla’s invitation of that many guest was a breach in the royal tradition. “The Royal Family’s value is in their traditions. Traditions and ceremonies that the world envies. When they sway too far from those customs, you will anger and disappoint a significant amount of people that feel like those actions strip away at the mystique.”

“Nepo babies obviously exist, but if you look at the success of Princess Diana’s nieces, Ladies Kitty Spencer, Amelia Spencer, and Eliza Spencer… they all share a striking resemblance to their Aunt Diana, who is universally adored.”

Nonetheless, Camilla’s family is in close relationship with the royal family for years. King Charles is even putting an effort to bond with his step-grandchildren. Some years ago, Queen Camilla had talked about King Charles’ relationship with her grandchildren.

“When we are with my husband in Scotland, he reads them Harry Potter,” Queen said six years ago. “And he does all the voices, because he is a brilliant mimic. They sit spellbound. They love it.”

“I love being with them, eating together, going to see a film or a play. They’re great enthusiasts. And it’s always nice to be in touch with that generation because it keeps you abreast of young people’s feelings and ideas,” Camilla also said for her grandchildren.
