After his marriage with Meghan Markle, Prince Harry’s relationship with his royal family constantly deteriorated. As he left his royal duties in 2020, he slowly revealed the cruelty he felt and experienced within the family.
The biggest rift between Harry and the royal family members belongs to his brother, Prince William. He was the one who became the angriest with the book Harry published, “Spare.”
Meghan Markle on the other hand, has revealed that her skin colour became an issue in the royal family, despite not giving any names, she revealed that some people had some problem with that.
“Yes, I feared, I feared a lot that the end result, the fact that I lost my mum when I was 12 years old, could easily happen again to my wife.” Harry shared.
Harry also shared a fight he had with his brother back in 2019, where he explained that he defended his wife. According to the Duke of Sussex, his brother was under the influence of British media, and criticised Markle for her background.
Back in 2023, Harry revealed in his interview with Anderson Cooper that he is not in speaking terms with his brother, Prince William.
Some reports are suggesting that Prince William wants to reconnect with his brother, but despite his desire, he didn’t make any move or take any action for that matter.
“William wants his relationship with his brother to improve, but they’re not speaking right now. So when that will happen is still uncertain,” a source shared.
As the sources shared, Princess Kate doesn’t want any relationship with the Sussexes.
The first reason of not welcoming back Sussexes, is the claims of Markle during her interview with Oprah Winfrey, where Markle stated that Middleton made her cry, and accused her with being racist.
“We are very much not a racist family,” William said to a reporter once.
“It’s hard to see a reconciliation. How could there be, when William and Catherine have the justifiable fear that anything they say could appear in a future book or be repeated in a TV program?” A source close to the royal family shared.
“There will be no reunion until Harry and Meghan apologize to their Royal Highnesses for everything they have said, and there is no sign that is likely,” the source continued.
