Janice was at her friend David’s wedding. They were close friends, who would share every secret with each other. For 30 years, he was not seemed that he would be married, but here they were at his wedding.
When Janice saw bride walking down the aisle, she was not mesmerized. Rather, she thought that the bride had a problem.
She turned to her friend, Dave’s sister Heather, and asked that if the bride was walking weirdly.
“You’re overthinking it. She’s just nervous, Janice. I mean, it’s a big day.” Heather said.
But she was sure that something was wrong. Then she looked at Dave, who was giving her the thumbs up with a big smile.
She faked a smile towards him, but her mind was what was under the bride’s gown.
As Janice couldn’t hold herself back, while the bride was walking next to her, she dove under her gown, and gasped. Then the whole church gasped. The church was dead silent.
There were man shoes under the bride. As Janice slowly looked up, she noticed that the bride was not Shanzie, who was Dave’s fiance.
When Dave rushed towards them, he went pale when he saw that a man was wearing Shanzie’s wedding gown. The man was grinning towars them. After the wig and the veil fell down, the whole church gasped.
The man under the veil was Dave’s best man. “She’s gone, Dave. Left days ago. But don’t worry, she knew about this. She’s the one who asked me to do it.”
The guests were whispering to each other. Dave then asked angrily about where Shanzie was. His best man stated that she wanted Dave to experience what she felt. She wanted him to know what it’s like to be blindsided.
The best man then revealed that Shanzie found out his affair with Vanessa. the best man said, “The bridesmaid you’ve been sneaking around with? Shanize knew.”
