PEOPLE GOT SHOCKED WITH THE NEW SEASON OF “MONSTERS”

A new Netflix story is making its debut, where they are telling the story of “Lyle and Erik Menendez Story.” But a mistake made by the showrunners had caused an online stir.

In the show, we will see the murder of Jose and Kitty Menendez, parents of the brothers who were killed by their sons. The show will last nine episodes, and delve into the drama caused by the brothers.

In the trailer, we see that the brothers were the victims of their father, sexual abuser Jose Menendez.

The actor who plays Lyle Menendez, Nicholas Alexander Chavez, stated that the story is explaining more than one perspective, as it will talk about the brothers, the parents and other things.

Actor of Erik Menendez, Cooper Koch, stated that through the role he got empathy for Erik. The role made him more grateful for his family, as opposed to Erik’s family.

Nathan Lane is appearing as the Vanity Fair reporter Dominick Dunne, revealed that he had no knowledge of the case, but researching it was surprising. He stated that people believed that Erik and Lyle were spoiled rich kids, but the truth was different.

The actors stated that Erik and Lyle were not cold-blooded murderers, but they were the victim of their family.

The murders happened back in 1989, while Jose and Kitty Menendez were watching TV. Both of the parents were shot by their sons. After the murder, Lyle called the authorities and said, “Someone killed my parents.”

The brothers said that they returned back home from outside, and found their parents dead by shot. Later, during their therapy session with Dr. Jerome Oziel, the brothers revealed that they killed their parents.

Dr. Oziel’s mistress overheard their confession, and called the authorities about the confession of brothers. Lyle was arrested in California, and Erik returned to the country voluntarily. Three years after the murder, the trial started.

The brothers shared that after years of sexual abuse of their father, they were desperately killed their parents, while the prosecutors believed that it was a planned murder to get the wealth of their family.

In the end, the brothers were not let talk with each other directly, and sentenced with life in prison. They were only able to wrote letters to one another.

22 years later, the brothers reunited in a Southern California prison, as their wish was granted.

To respond to the show, Erik Menendez released a statement with the help of his wife, Tammi Menendez. Tammi shared Erik’s words on X as, “I believe Ryan Murphy cannot be this naive and inaccurate about the facts of our lives so as to do this without any bad intent.”

As the murders happened decades ago, in the show, showrunners tried to show the time period of the events. But viewers found a mistake in the show, as they shared it in X.
