Stella was sitting on her seat, when Franklin Delaney yelled that he doesn’t want to sit with her. The stewardess tried to explain that it was her seat, and they can’t do anything.
The man kept yelling that Stella couldn’t have bought a ticket since her clothes were not expensive. He was pointing at her while yelling towards the stewardess.
Then other passengers looked at Stella, and agreed that she was not belonged in there. As Stella was embarrassed, she turned to the stewardess and stated that she can take another seat at the economy.
The stewardess was already kind to Stella once before as she already helped her when 85-year-old Stella was lost at the airport.
Stewardess turned to Stella and explained that she will not allow that. And then she threatened the man with calling the airport security. The man shut his mouth and sat then, but he kept murmuring silently.
Stella was afraid so she decided to keep silent and look down at her purse. As the plane took off, she dropped her purse, and from inside, her ruby locket fell too. The man next to her helped her recover her belongings, but he was shocked when he saw the locket.
The man revealed that the ruby locket was antique, and that it was incredibly valuable. Then Stella took them back. The man asked some questions about the origin of the rubies, and Stella explained that they belonged to her late mother. Her father gifted them to her mother.
He was a pilot during the World War II, and before he left, he gifted her mother this locket.
Despite the economical status she was in, Stella never thought about selling them as it was too valuable for her to give away. Then she opened the locket, and showed her parents’ picture to the Franklin.
There was another picture on the other side of the locket, her son. She revealed that since she couldn’t care for him, she gave him away and she later wanted to reconnect but her son, Josh didn’t accept. Stella revealed that the pilot of the flight was her son in truth.
She then explained that today was his birthday, and she wanted to spend some time with him. At least one birthday.
Some passengers and the stewardess couldn’t hold their tears back, and the stewardess went into the cockpit.
As the plane was about to land, the pilot started to speak. After the announce was over, the pilot continued. “In addition, I want everyone to welcome my birth mother, whose flying on my route for the first time. Hey, Mom. Wait for me once the plane lands.”
