NEIGHBOR BROUGHT A SUITCASE AND ASKED FOR IT’S SAFEKEEPING UNTER HER RETURN, THEN POLICE APPEARED ON HER YARD ON THE NEXT DAY

While May was watching TV, her door got knocked. She found her old neighbor Molly at the door. She handed over a suitcase and asked May to keep it safe until she returned and asked her not to open it.

Molly was nervous, as she was acting as if someone was following her. When May asked what was happening, Molly turned to her and said:

“No time to explain, dear. Just promise me you’ll keep it safe. It’s for someone I truly adore.”

When the morning arrived, May saw police officers on Molly’s yard. May was scared if Molly did something illegal.

She then walked outside and asked if everything was alright. Then an officer told to May that the old lady who was living in there passed away last night, in her sleep. May learned that Molly’s death was reported by her maid.

“But that’s impossible. I just saw her yesterday!”

“You saw her? When exactly?”

“Just in passing. Nothing unusual.”

Then May returned back inside.

She hid the suitcase as if it was a ticking bomb, and tried to forget it. A week later, she decided to open it, and found an incredible amount of money. There was also a letter in the suitcase where her name was written on it.

In her letter, Molly stated that she is sorry for confusing her but if she is reading this letter, then she is dead. She wrote her that she adores her and that she was struggling with cancer for a while. She recently heard her daughter talking about stealing her money after putting her in a caring house.

As she didn’t want that happen to her, she talked with her lawyer, and give all her money to her.

She concluded as, “I know this is a lot, and I’m sorry for burdening you. But I’ve watched you over the years. You’re kind, decent, and hardworking. You’re the daughter I wish I’d had.

With love and gratitude,

Molly”
