49-year-old Naomi Pomeroy found dead in a river, few days after she was reported missing.
Benton County Sheriff’s Office released a statement where they confirmed the passing of Naomi Pomeroy.
Naomi, her husband Kyle Linden Webster and their friend had an accident while paddleboarding. Sadly, Naomi was pulled underwater after they came across with an “exposed snag in the water” and Naomi was not able to free herself from the “paddleboard leash.”
Corvallis Fire Department recovered Webster and the friend, but Naomi’s body was not being found.
After the search, Naomi’s body was found on the Willamette River about a half mile upstream of Hyak Park.
May she rest in peace.
