Legendary pitcher and an iconic baseball player of Los Angeles Dodgers, MLB legend Fernando Valenzuela lost his life at the age of 63.
MLB Network confirmed Valenzuela’s passing on their official social media account on the 22nd of October.
Fernando Valenzuela captivated the baseball world in 1981. His unforgettable year included winning the NL Rookie of the Year, Cy Young Award & a World Series title.

On the 3rd of October, Los Angeles Dodgers shared the news of Valenzuela stepping away from broadcasting due to his health-related problems. LA Dodgers also stated at the time that Valenzuela will return for the 2025 season.
