MAN HAD TO MAKE A CHOICE BETWEEN HIS PREGNANT WIFE AND DYING MOTHER

Gordon and Debra were waiting for the day they would hold their baby, as Debra’s due date was coming closer with each passing day. One day, as Gordon walked inside to their bedroom, he saw Debra leaning on the wall, holding her belly.

“My water, it broke.” Debra said as she was nervous. “Baby! Take me to the hospital! Please hurry!”

Gordon took Debra immediately and helped her to get in the car. As he was about to drive his phone ranged. It was Marla, his mother’s nurse. His mother was diagnosed with a heart disease which she was bound to bed. The nurse stated that his mother suffered a heart attack and that she had little time left so he needed to hurry.

“Oh Jesus!” Gordon said. What he should do? His wife was in labour, and his mother was dying. He started to cry as he entered to the car. Debra asked what was wrong and Gordon told her that his mother was dying.

“Call a taxi babe.” Debra said. “I can go by myself.”

“What?” Gordon said as he was shocked. “No, you can’t!”

“Gordon call a taxi! We don’t have much time. Call a taxi and go with the car! Hurry!”

As the taxi arrived immediately, Gordon rushed to the hospital where his mother was in. He found Marla in there, and went to his mother’s room.

Then Gordon started to talk himself. “I know that you will be allright mom! You will be a grandmother soon.” he smiled.

As he was about the enter, doctors left the room with sad faces. “We are sorry Gordon. We couldn’t save her.”

As Gordon started to cry, his phone ranged. It was Debra.

“Honey! You are a father now!” Gordon was not sure what to think or feel. “Great news babe!” he said. Then he talked again, “Mom’s gone.”

“No, she’s not!” Debra said and sent the picture of their baby. Gordon was shocked because his newborn daughter was the carbon copy of his mother.
