Andrew had a rough childhood since his parents were not a happy couple. His mother got married with his father for money, and after she gave birth to Andrew, she thought that she was done with her job.
So Andrew decided from early on that he would never marry a gold digger, and he was sure that he would find someone who would love him for who he is, not what he is.
He studied in England, and then went on his studies in Australia. He was away from his father and his mother left him a long time ago and remarried. When he returned, he started to work under his father.
His father wanted him to be the vice president, but Andrew wanted to start from the bottom. He wanted to start as an intern, and to climb the ladder one by one. Andrew bought a second-hand car, and started to live in an apartment by himself with the low income of his job.
One day, he met with someone by accident at a cafe, Linda. He fell for her right when he saw her for the first time. They had a coffee together, and Andrew talked with his grandmother about Linda.
He also had a good friend, Cynthia from the same department. To his luck, Cynthia and Linda were from the same school. After she learned that Andrew was fallen for Linda, she didn’t told him that Linda wouldn’t be with an intern.
Few time later, Andrew decided to propose to Linda. He prepared a romantic dinner under the candlelight. As he proposed, Linda laughed at him. For Linda, he was nothing more than a broke intern.
That hurt Andrew a lot, since his mother was also a gold digger like Linda. Cynthia saw that Andrew was in depression. He started to lost weight and was constantly sad. As she tried to comfort him, Andrew refused to talk. That led to a fight, and ended up with Cynthia quitting her job.
Later, Andrew realised that he was wrong with his actions against Cynthia and decided to call her. But she was not answering his calls. He went and bought a bouquet of flowers and went to her house.
Once she opened the door, he gave her the flowers and explained that he was sorry. He wanted her to be his friend again as he needed her in his life. But Cynthia refused, as she revealed that she was in love with Andrew. Before she finished her sentence, Andrew kissed her.
Things worked, and weeks passed. At the cafe where Andrew met Linda, proposed to Cynthia. After the wedding, as Andrew was a member of a huge family, his wedding hit to the headlines. Linda saw the news, and she was shocked.
