Lizzy and Matt were married for eight years. They were having a great life. It was a joy for Matt to be with the love of his life, Lizzy. One day, as Matt didn’t want to believe, he saw something different in his wife’s eyes.
He was 40 miles away from home, at a business trip. Then his phone got ranged. A woman was calling him. She told him that she was Nurse Karen from the local hospital, and that his wife was in the ER.
Matt’s heart skipped a beat. He immediately turned the car and drove back as fast as he can.
When he was at the hospital, he asked where his wife, Lizzy Williams was in. The people in the reception were shocked. Since a man brought her here, they thought the man was her husband.
Then told Matt that his wife was in the room 12. As he entered, he found a man by Lizzy’s bed. He was holding her hand.
The man standup when he saw Matt. His name was Logan, and he was Lizzy’s lover. He stated that they had an accident while he was away. He wanted the nurse to call you.
“You’re her lover?” Matt asked as he was furious.
Logan told him that she was still in love with him, and that talk about him constantly. How things were, and how she is feeling that they were drifting apart. She wanted to find a way to tell you.
Then Matt noticed that Logan was telling the truth, as he looked into his eyes.
Lizzy wanted attention and affection from Matt, and that was the reason why she cheated.
“I thought working hard was the best way to take care of her. I was wrong.”
Then Logan told Matt that he’ll step back, and he left their lives. “Make her happy.” Logan said before he left.
When Lizzy was awoken, she looked around with confusion. Then she saw her husband and smiled.
“I’m here Lizzy, I’ll never leave. No matter what.”
