LEGENDARY MLB PLAYER, PETE ROSE PASSED AWAY

The legendary MLB player, Pete Rose, found dead in his Las Vegas home. A family member of Rose found him unresponsive in his house. The Clark County medical examiner confirmed the passing of 83-year-old MLB legend.

As the investigation is continuing, authorities shared that there was no foul play in Rose’s passing. After the autopsy, the cause of death will be revealed. Representative of Rose, Ryan Fiterman, asked for privacy and respect for the family during these hard times.

A day before he passed away, Rose made a public outing, where he attended to a card show with his former teammates, Dave Concepción, George Foster, Tony Perez, and Ken Griffey Sr.

As the Philadelphia Phillies paid tribute, they stated from their social media account, “The Phillies are saddened to learn of Pete Rose’s passing. He will always be remembered for his grit and hustle, and for playing an integral role in bringing the team its first World Series championship.”

“Our hearts are deeply saddened by the news of Pete’s passing. He was one of the fiercest competitors the game has ever seen, and every team he played for was better because of him.” Cincinnati Reds Principal Owner Bob Castellini stated.

Major League Baseball also shared their grief as they paid tribute after Rose’s passing, where they shared a statement from their social media account.

As another sports legend, Dikembe Mutombo had passed away too, MLFootball account paid tribute both of the legends as they stated, “Today was a very sad day: The sports world lost two absolute icons in Pete Rose and Dikembe Mutombo. Both of them had legendary careers & did so much off the field philanthropically🙏🕊️”

Rose played for Cincinnati Reds when he was 18, and made his debut in Major League, back in 1963. He finished his career with 4,256 hits, as he broke many records in his career.
