88-year-old Country music legend Kris Kristofferson, passed away on 28th of September, 2024, in Maui. Kristofferson’s representative shared the information of his passing, where he was surrounded by his family in his Maui home.
Kristofferson’s family also released a statement, where they said, “It is with a heavy heart that we share the news our husband/father/grandfather, Kris Kristofferson, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 28 at home.”
“We’re all so blessed for our time with him. Thank you for loving him all these many years, and when you see a rainbow, know he’s smiling down at us all.”
Kristofferson was surrounded by his family, where his wife Lisa Meyers, his eight children and seven grandchildren.
His first wife was Frances Beer, mother of his daughter Tracy and son Kris. Then he married with Rita Coolidge, and welcomed his daughter Casey.
After marrying Meyers, they welcomed Jesse, Jody, John, Kelly Marie and Blake.
The legendary country musician Kris Kristofferson’s legacy will continue, as his many additions to the industry will. May he rest in peace.
