KATE MIDDLETON WILL NO LONGER TRY TO BE THE PEACEMAKER BETWEEN WILLIAM AND HARRY

After her cancer treatment took Kate Middleton away from her royal duties, in the early September she revealed that she was now “cancer-free.”

“As the summer comes to an end, I cannot tell you what a relief it is to have finally completed my chemotherapy treatment,” Kate Middleton said in a video she shared.

“The last nine months have been incredibly tough for us as a family. Life as you know it can change in an instant and we have had to find a way to navigate the stormy waters and road unknown.”

“This time has, above all, reminded William and me to reflect and be grateful for the simple yet important things in life, which so many of us often take for granted. Of simply loving and being loved,” Kate Middleton added.

“Doing what I can to stay cancer free is now my focus. Although I have finished chemotherapy, my path to healing and full recovery is long and I must continue to take each day as it comes.”

Middleton also thanked the people who supported her while she was under treatment. “William and I are so grateful for the support we have received and have drawn great strength from all those who are helping us at this time. Everyone’s kindness, empathy and compassion has been truly humbling,” Princess Kate said.

“To all those who are continuing their own cancer journey — I remain with you, side by side, hand in hand. Out of darkness, can come light, so let that light shine bright.”

As Middleton returned to her royal duties, she will be present in the Christmas gathering at Sandringham.

A source shared that Middleton is in the guests list. “She’s keen to join her children and family to celebrate the holidays, but there’s no pressure for her to attend,” source said.

“Obviously everyone is looking forward to having her there, but if she doesn’t feel up to it on the day, the family will understand.”

Other than that, royal expert Jennie Bond stated that Middleton is the behind the post where The Prince and Princess of Wales celebrated Prince Harry’s 40th birthday on the social media.

As the rift between brothers is growing larger, Middleton was trying to save their relationship as brothers. Reports are suggesting that Middleton wanted her husband and brother-in-law to reconciliate.

“Landmark birthdays are often a time for taking a look at your life. This time it seems to be William who has been doing some re-evaluation. My gut feeling is that Catherine was influential in this slight softening of her husband’s implacable stand. In the film she made about the end of her chemotherapy, she told how cancer had given her a new perspective,” Bond said.

“William has so much on his plate that I don’t think he has time to deal with Harry. But first steps matter. And though the brothers may never be close again, it doesn’t mean the future has to be full of bad blood. Catherine is right. Family should always be paramount,” royal expert added.

Another royal expert, Christopher Andersen shared that she will no longer try to work for their reunion.

“The idea that Kate somehow still has the time and energy to continue playing peacemaker is rubbish,” royal expert said. “She did try over a period of years and finally threw up her hands in disgust. She did her bit, but it wasn’t enough to build a bridge between William and Charles on the one side and Harry on the other.”
