HURRICANE MILTON IS COMING!

Officials are released a warning about the coming Hurricane Milton. Another terrible hurricane is on its way towards Florida. The officials already called for evacuations.

After the terrible hit of Hurricane Helene, Florida now will face with another big storm, Hurricane Milton.

National Hurricane Center and Central Pacific Hurricane Center stated that the Hurricane Milton will hit to the Florida Peninsula on the week of October 7.

The storm will likely to start on the late October 8, or the early hours of October 9. the Florida Peninsula’s west coast is at the aim of Hurricane Milton.

“This rainfall will bring the risk of considerable flash, urban, and areal flooding, along with the potential for moderate to major river flooding,” The National Hurricane Center (NHC) shared.

“Milton will also produce rainfall totals of 2 to 4 inches across parts of the northern Yucatan Peninsula.”

Currently, the storm is gathering strong over the Southern Gulf of Mexico. It is expected to see storm surge, hurricane, and tropical storm in Florida.

Officials stated that Gulf Coast of Florida will face the hurricane, and Tampa Bay, the Dry Tortugas, and locations from Chokoloskee northward to the mouth of the Suwanee River are on the path of Hurricane Milton.

From Flamingo northward to the Suwanee River, Tampa Bay, and Charlotte Harbor are issued a storm surge.

“Whereas, an amendment to Executive Order 24-214 is necessary because recovery efforts and those affected by this disaster require the continued support of the State of Florida,” was stated by Florida Governor Ron DeSantis stated.

DeSantis declared a state of emergency for 51 counties.

“[As] Governor of Florida, I am responsible to meet the dangers presented to the State of Florida and its people by this emergency,” the statement continued.
