Sally was excited for her Aunt Carol’s retirement celebration. The family planned a trip to Hawaii for the occasion. The whole family were invited, except the children, and Sally.
Sally witnessed every detail of the trip, as she even gave suggestions which her family used for planning the trip. But she was not invited, and they wanted her to babysit the children of the family.
She learned of their plans when she talked with her sister about the gift she would like to get for Aunt Carol. She then learned that her family made a decision in her name and agreed on leaving her out of the trip for she would babysit.
Despite the protest from Sally, they let Sally know that the bookings were already arranged, and she was left out. She was angry, and decided to put her own plan in action.
As a working woman, Sally had the economic freedom to plan her own trip. She was going to Hawaii too, but with a plane instead of a cruise ship with her family. While the family gathered for a dinner, they made some jokes about how Sally would struggle with the children.
Sally laughed, and revealed her own trip plans. They were shocked. They named her as the villain. She then revealed her heartbreak, and explained that she was not the slave of the family, and had her own choices.
As the children were left with no babysitter, Sally’s sister, who arranged the bookings were forced to left with the children.
