GRANDMOTHER GAVE A HOT DOG COSTUME FOR STEP GRANDDAUGHTER, WHILE HER OWN GRANDDAUGHTERS RECEIVED PRINCESS COSTUMES

Jen married Matt after a failed marriage with her previous partner. She had a daughter Amy, and Matt two daughters, Lily and Cindy, who were twins. All of their daughters were six. They had a great relationship from the start of their union.

Matt’s mother Brenda, as she was a terrible mother-in-law, never accepted Amy. She would buy gifts to Lily and Cindy, and would leave Amy with empty hands. She wouldn’t show any love to her.

Jen realized that Brenda wouldn’t accept her daughter, but she never did such a thing against her stepdaughters. She loved them equally, as if they were her own.

One day, Jen and Matt had to go to another city, and Jen thought that it would be a good chance for Brenda to bond with Amy. The girls had a ball on their school, and that they needed some costumes for it.

They left Brenda in charge, in good faith. Few days later, as they were able to leave early for their daughter’s ball, they were shocked at their return.

Cindy and Lily had princess costumes while Amy was wearing a hot dog costume. Matt and Jen were furious with what they had seen. They took their daughters. Cindy and Lily told their parents that they tried to stop Brenda, but their grandma didn’t listen to them.

Matt was angry. He told Jen to take the children back home. Amy was crying as she was saying that she did nothing wrong.

“What do you think you are doing? Why are you harassing Amy. She is my daughter. MY DAUGHTER!”

“It was only a joke. You are being sensitive.”

“Do you think that. YOU REALLY THINK THAT! No more! You’ve lost all your rights to see your grandchildren. You are no longer my mother! Don’t call, don’t try to reach!”

“But I-”

“NO! You did something beyond forgiveness. You have no right to talk or ask for anything. Enough. You only tried to hurt Amy, a little girl who tried everything for you to love her.”

As Matt left his mother’s house, when he returned there years later, it was for his mother’s funeral.
