GRANDMOTHER CREATED A MESS IN THE FAMILY AFTER DNA TEST

A woman shared a story on Reddit’s r/AITA subreddit. The woman revealed that she created a mess in her family after she tried to help her middle granddaughter. Woman shared that her middle granddaughter had blond curly hair, while the whole family had dark hair.

One day, her 15-year-old granddaughter came to the Redditor and explained that her parents didn’t allow her to take an ancestry test. Then the grandmother talked with her son and daughter-in-law that if there was anything foul in her birth. Granddaughter’s parents refused to talk about the matter.

Later, the granddaughter talked with her grandmother again. She told to Redditor that she talked with her biology teacher about how her hair was different from the rest of the family, and the teacher revealed that it is not a common thing to happen.

Then she wanted a DNA test kit from the Redditor, as she wanted to know the truth. That revealed the truth, her granddaughter was not from her daughter-in-law. Her son got someone else pregnant and later the woman her son had an affair with gave her granddaughter up.

“This has blown up the family while Lindsey is pissed to being lied to, I am getting a ton of heat for getting her a DNA test. Now they won’t talk to me which is making Lindsey even more mad at them.” The grandmother who shared the story wrote.

The woman explained that her son was living in a different state so that was why she had no idea of the truth.
