After many tests it was clear, grandma Betty was diagnosed with dementia. Matt and his mother Jane were shocked when the doctor revealed the diagnosis. The treatment was going to slow the condition, but with time, things will get worse.

Months passed. Betty was staying in her daughter’s home. On the morning, Matt found his mother wiping the floor of the kitchen. Betty moved things around during the night once again.

When he returned from school, the house was quiet. Jane was still at work, and Matt was hearing his grandma’s footsteps coming from upstairs.

On the next day, Matt decided to take his grandmother to the sea. He prepared a lunch for them to eat by the sea. As their food was over, Betty tried to hug her grandson and said, “Thank you Matt, I’ve remembered during the dinner. Please take me back to home now.”

As Matt went emotional, he took his grandmother back to their house.
