Cassie was a teacher, who loves her job. She was the leader of the book club in the school, as she would love to suggest books to children, and do research to find books which would help children improve themselves.
One night, she went to her friend, Ellie’s party. She introduced her boyfriend, Jared, to Cassie. As Ellie was smiling, Jared had a flat face. He was looking at Cassie, as if he was scanning her.
He was a control maniac. When Ellie wanted another glass of wine, he didn’t let her. Ellie accepted, as she was under control of him.
As the night moved, Cassie talked with her friend, and stated that she should leave this control freak. Ellie was confused, as she stated that Jared was only caring for her.
Then Jared approached and asked if there were any problem. “You are the problem!” Cassie said. Then Jared responded, “You should leave!”
Cassie looked at her friend, and she went away. When the morning arrived, Cassie was ready at school. She was going to meet with the new principal. But things went south, as the new principal was Ellie’s boyfriend, Jared.
The freedom of the school was gone now. Jared took control of everything in a short notice. He wanted to plan everything, and know everything. He closed the book club Cassie founded a decade ago.
That day, when the school was over, Cassie saw Oliver. He was a parent who were not happy with the book club, but in time, he changed his mind and now he was in love with Cassie. He didn’t say anything, but was planning to.
When he saw that Cassie was sad, he wanted to talk and learn if he could help with anything. Cassie then revealed that the book club was closed, and this was the reason of her sadness.
“That’s ridiculous. The kids love that club.” Oliver said. Then he offered his old studio to let Cassie run the book club in there, after school. Cassie immediately accepted Oliver’s offer.
That evening, Ellie called her and revealed that her club was also closed by Jared. She revealed that she will leave him.
On the next morning, Jared called for Cassie. He then fired her as he accused her with “organizing unsanctioned activities in school grounds.”
Cassie protested, but Jared revealed that he changed the school policy. She went to her classroom to pack. She was crying when she left the school. Then Oliver called her. He was sounding terrified. He revealed that someone started a fire in the studio.
As they were talking, Ellie called Cassie. She explained that Jared did something terrible, and that she got some evidence about it. Cassie asked if it was related with fire, and Ellie was surprised.
Then Cassie revealed the situation and she took Oliver with her and went to talk with Ellie. She then showed the phone where Jared paid some people for the fire incident, and there were also other illegal activities in the phone.
They immediately arranged a meeting with the school board, and let the authorities know of the situation. First, Jared was fired from the school, and on the outside, police officers were waiting for him.
After the events, Olliver and Cassie started to rebuild the book club, and their joint efforts ended with love.
