The “American Pickers” star Frank Fritz passing away shocked everyone, as he was a loved figure in his community and as a reality show star. His friends and family paid tribute after they’ve lost Fritz.
His co-star of a long time, Robert Wolfe, and the rest of the crew members shared their grieving.
“You all knew him from TV. But I knew him from traveling, Fishing and Family he was the god father to my twin girls. His smile was contagious and his laughter will be missed [sic],” Robert, close friend and cast member of Frizt.
“I will miss your ability to make everyone laugh, your love for talking tattoos, your epic collections but what I will miss the most are those little glimpses of vulnerability from time to time,” co-star of Fritz, Danielle Colby shared. “Rest in Peace, Road Dog.”
Olivier Starr, Facebook group administrator shared that they “lost a truly genuine person,” and a person who they loved. “He fought a valiant battle the last two years with many ups and downs, but ultimately, the combination of the severe stroke and his Crohn’s disease was just too much for his body to bear,” Starr said.
Fritz passing was announced by Annette Oberlander Williows, on the Facebook page of the show and Fritz. Annette shared that Fritz passed away at 7:30, where he was surrounded by his family and friends.
“Please understand this is a very rough time for us. Including Mike so be kind as we are trying to figure out how to cope with this. Thank you all for your love and support through the years [sic].” Annette shared.
Frank Fritz was struggling with Crohn’s disease and a severe stroke. As it is reported, Frank wished to be cremated, and didn’t want a formal service. He wanted his family to celebrate his life, not mourn.
