A father from Kentucky, Jordan Driskell, received backlash after he shared the video of how he is walking his quintuplets on a leash.
With his wife Briana, Jordan welcomed their quintuplets Zoey, Dakota, Hollyn, Asher, and Gavin. As a loving father, Jordan enjoyed every moment he had with his children. But as it is hard to keep an eye on five little children, they come up with out of the box parenting choices.
“Kids are so curious — they want to run off and explore. For our own peace of mind and sanity, we use a leash. It also allows us to leave the house and do fun stuff as a family without being stressed.” Jordan said.
As the father shared the moments on social media, where he was walking his children on a leash, he received many mean comments. People blamed him with bad parenting, and didn’t approve him as a father.
Here are the comments:
“This is deeply disturbing. Teach your kids to behave so you don’t have to use a dog leash. Not cool.”

“Bro they’re missing muzzles.”

“They need to learn to listen to you and they need to learn to be independent. If you can’t control them them don’t have them.”

“Leashes on kids should be illegal. You have your opinions but it’s just wrong, even rabbits don’t go on leashes, why should children?”

A parenting expert, Dr. Deborah Gilboa talked about the parenting style of Jordan, and stated that it was a creative way to solve problems. “This isn’t treating kids like animals. The alternative would be just staying at home … Just because you can’t identify with the problem doesn’t mean it’s not there.”
“As the father of three, I am well aware of how quick, impulsive, and unpredictable kids can be. But from an injury standpoint, I would worry about entanglement or choking.”
