Jake welcomed his daughter Serena when she returned early from work. She was visiting her father, and it was Jake’s favourite time of the month.
When Serena was inside, she revealed that she met someone. And there was a “but” in Serena’s words. The “but” was the age of the man she met. He was sixty.
“Sixty, Serena? That’s… can’t you see the issue here?” Jake said as he was shocked.
But Serena stated that she was in love, and that age had nothing to do with what she was feeling. As Jake asked about their future, Serena stated that Edison was the man she was in love, and that she wanted Jake to meet Edison.
Jake agreed to meet with Edison, and the next day, he was in his home. After dinner, Edison went downstairs with his sister Annie, and Jake wanted to get some fresh air, and went to the balcony.
Then he hear the horrible truth from downstairs kitchen, where Edison and Annie were talking. They were talking about their bet, and how Edison stated that he could find and marry a 20-year-old girl. Annie and her brother Edison were laughing.
Jake was shocked, and he rushed to his daughter’s side. He then revealed what he heard but Serena didn’t believe her father. She was actually mad that her father accused the man she loved with such a thing.
When Edison and Annie returned upstairs, Jake couldn’t hold himself and yelled at Edison that he should stay away from his daughter. Then Serena yelled at her father. With sadness, Jake left the house and went to his home.
Once he was at home, he called a friend of his, a private investigator. He then learned that Edison was a gambler. He then made a plan to reclaim the love of his daughter once again.
He also learned that Edison’s business partner Duke had fired him from their joint business, after his gambling almost bankrupted them. When Jake called Duke, the old business partner revealed the whole truth about Edison.
Then Jake went to Edison’s favourite casino, and sat on his table where he was playing poker as he changed his appearance.
After winning few rounds against Edison, Jake revealed himself. Edison was shocked. As Edison was indebted to Jake, he accepted the offer from Jake where he stated that whether he would stay away from his daughter, or he will take everything from him.
Edison accepted, and there he called Serena and revealed the truth. Then Jake went back home, and found his daughter waiting for him.
