EX-WIFE TOLD MAN THAT THEIR SON WAS DEAD, THE TRUTH SHOCKED HIM

After five years of marriage, Nat and James got divorced. They had a son, three-year-old Oliver. They were co-parenting, and during holidays James would spend time with his son.

That night, they talked over the phone and Oliver said “Good night daddy!” before the phone hung up.

Early in the morning, Nat, his ex-wife called James. She was screaming on the phone, where she told James that their son was dead.

James couldn’t process what was happening. Was he dreaming? No, hi pinched himself, and the reality hit.

He asked what happened and Nat said, “He’s—he’s just gone. Oh my God!”

James told her that he will be coming immediately, but Nat said no. She revealed that they already buried Oliver.

“Why didn’t you tell me anything? If something happened to Oliver—if he was sick or hurt—you should’ve called me!”

Then Nat hung up the phone without saying anything.

Then the next day arrived, while he was packing, Natalie’s new husband Mike was calling him.

James opened the call and told Mike that he was on his way. Then Mike stopped him. He told James that Nat lost her mind. Olliver was alive, and he was in Nat’s parent’s home.

Mike told him that he just learned what Nat did. He then added that he will take her to a doctor and that he can take Olliver from Nat’s parents.

Then James went to his ex-in-laws’ house. He then learned what happened to Nat. She was afraid that James would take Olliver away and never show him again. Her mental health slowly deteriorated, and then she lied to James about their son’s death with a hope that he will leave their lives completely.

James was shocked. He stayed with his son that night, and when morning arrived, Nat was there to talk with him.

She confessed what she did, and apologized as she told him that she was afraid of losing her son against him.

James told Natalie that he was not there to take him away. He was aware that Olliver needed his mother as well as his father in his life. He wanted Nat to go seek help, and once she was recovered, they would talk again.
