ERIN MURPHY PRAISED BY FANS AFTER HER PICTURES AT THE AGE OF 60

After the sitcom “Bewitched” went viral in the ‘60s, Erin Murphy also had her place in the industry as a child actor, where she appeared as Tabitha Stephens.

Erin was three when she received her role along with the legendary names from the industry, Elizabeth Montgomery and Agnes Moorehead.

She starred in more than 100 episodes in the show, until it finished in 1972.

As her career was rising, when Erin became 8, she returned to a normal life in California. As she moved away from the industry, she moved to Orange County, and then returned to Los Angeles.

“It wasn’t difficult for me. I continued acting and actually turned down jobs. I had a pretty easy transition away from it. I think a lot of it is in some ways I walked away from the business before maybe the business kicked me out,” Erin said.

In 1984, Erin married Terry Rogers, as the next chapter of her life began. They welcomed two sons, Jason and Grant. Five years later, in 1989, Erin and Terry divorced, and the actress returned back to California.

Four years later, Erin married Eric Eden. They had a son, Clark. In 1990, they divorced, and Erin returned to California once again.

In 1999, Erin married Darren Dunckel, and welcomed her son Dylan. “It’s a lot of fun. It’s a crazy but fun lifestyle,” Erin said about her life with six sons.

“People always ask me if I’m Mormon. I only have one sister, and I grew up thinking ‘The Brady Bunch’ was the greatest show, so I always did want a big family. But ideally, I always wanted one boy and one girl, so maybe if I’d had a girl in there, I might have stopped at three or sooner, but I wouldn’t change anything,” the actress said.

However, her third marriage also didn’t last. As she was focused on her children, she also thought about her return to the industry.

“Scripts are sent to me all the time, and I haven’t seen anything good enough to have me gone for 12 hours a day,” Erin said.

“I was involved with autism charities before Parker was born and then obviously once he was diagnosed, I put that as my focus. I go to board meetings [and] I volunteer. I speak at events. I think it’s important to be there for other parents who have questions.”

“I’ve always volunteered. I have a strong belief that you need to give back. I’m really lucky for the life I have and the opportunities I’ve had.”

When Erin talked about her children walking in her footsteps, she said, “So far no. […] I always said that if any of my kids were interested, I would encourage and help them and guide them. But no one ever showed an interest, so I kind of think parents should support whatever their kid’s passion is.”
