DAUGHTERS OF FORMER PRESIDENT OBAMA SPOTTED AT RAPPER DRAKE’S PARTY

When Michelle Obama, the former first lady, spoke of her daughters, “They are watched. They had to learn how to balance the unwanted attention, but do it politely. To build their own lives in the spotlight and not be eaten up by it,” she said on the “Moments that Make Us,” podcast.

“Well those girls had to be smart and confident and independent straight away, even when they were living in a house with butlers and maids and florists. But I was raising them thinking, ‘You’re not going to live here, and with me, forever. So I’ve got to hand you your life soon and let you manage it.’”

When it was 2014, Barack Obama had struggled with accepting that his daughter was growing, as she was getting ready for her prom night. “I think it’s fair to say that the first time you see your daughter in heels is a little bit jarring,” Obama said on Live with Kelly & Michael. “She’s lovely. She’s beautiful.”

Malia graduated from high school in 2016, and attended to Harvard University, which she graduated from in 2021.

When Obama talked about his younger daughter Sasha, he said that she “is just full of energy and the comedian in the family.”

Sasha went to the University of Michigan during the pandemic and then she attended the University of Southern California, and graduated in 2023.

“It feels good to know that the two girls you raised find solace at a kitchen table with one another. It’s like the one thing you want for them,” Michelle Obama said about how their daughters were living together.

The sisters were seen while partying along with the rapper Drake at The Bird Streets Club in Los Angeles.
