DAUGHTER MARRIED WITH FATHER’S FRIEND, DAUGHTER FOUND A SECRET ON THEIR WEDDING NIGHT

Mel was going to her father, John’s BBQ party. Many people were invited, and most of them were from his auto shop. As she arrived, John welcomed his daughter, while he was working on the food.

Then the doorbell ranged. John welcomed Steve, his old friend. When Mel saw Steve, she had an instant crush on him.

Steve was a handsome, kind man. He was a total gentleman. They shook hands and John introduced them to each other.

Mel couldn’t keep her eyes away from him during the BBQ party. When it was time to go, her car didn’t start. As she was about to call her father, she heard a tapping on her window. It was Steve.

He offered help, and fixed the problem in minutes. “Thanks, Steve. I guess I owe you one.”

“How about dinner? We can call it even.”

“Yeah, dinner sounds good.”

SIX MONTHS LATER

There, Mel was looking at herself in her wedding dress. It was the day of her wedding with Steve. She was 39, and was ready to take the big step.

She walked down the aisle, and exchanged vows with Steve. It was like a dream. After the “I do’s,” they were husband and wife.

After the wedding, they were at Steve’s house, their house. She was excited, as she went to the bathroom. After she calmed herself down for a few minutes, she went to the bedroom.

Then she found Steve with talking to someone. He was talking about how beautiful the day was, to a woman named Stace.

“Steve?” Mel asked in shock. When Steve noticed her, his face went pale.

He panicked, and then revealed. He said that he was talking to his daughter Stace. He knew that she was dead in the same car accident his wife passed away too, but it was comforting him to talk to her picture.

He explained that he would like his daughter to be with him that day, and see how happy he was.

Mel was upset. She was not angry, or scared. She was just upset. Seeing Steve that hurt was not something she noticed in the past six months.

“I get it, I do. You’re not crazy, Steve. You’re grieving.”

“We all have things that haunt us. But we’re in this together now. We can carry this together.” Mel hugged to her husband, who was shedding tears onto his daughter’s picture.
