Karen and Matt just arrived back to their home from their vacation. They were planning to rest for a while, as they returned earlier than they planned because Karen had a stomach problem.
Then Matt saw it. There a giant hole was dug in their backyard. As Karen needed to rest, she went to sleep, as she had no power to stand up.
Then Matt parked the car into the garage. He thought since they were home early, maybe the digger might return.
At midnight, the man who sold he house to Matt, George, was there in his backyard. Matt confronted him directly.
While George was in the bottom of the hole, Matt was looking at him from up. He begged to Matt not to call the police.
Then he revealed that his grandfather hid a treasure in the backyard, as he was the original owner. Then he offered a fifty-fifty deal to Matt.
Matt accepted. He then helped George to dig the hole. George recently lost his job, and his wife was struggling with cancer.
They dug for hours. George told Matt that his grandfather would never trust the banks and he would talk about burying his money.
He then found a journal from his grandfather. In there he saw a spot marked with “X” showing the backyard of the house. George told Matt that few thousand dollars would come like a medicine.
While they were digging for hours, they shared many stories with each other. They couldn’t find anything in there, but a new friendship was formed. After Matt drive George back to his house, his wife was shocked when she saw him covered in dirt.
After they talked, George thanked to Matt.
When Matt revealed everything to his wife, after he took a shower and went to bed, Karen told Matt to invited George and Gemma for dinner next week. She told him that maybe she can help them with a fundraiser.
