After 1984 movie, “The Karate Kid,” Andrew Shue had his breakthrough and became a big name in the industry. In 1992, Shue appeared as Billy Campbell on “Melrose Place.” After his role, he quickly made a name for himself.
His chemistry with Heather Locklear made them one of the most loved duos on TV. In 1994, Shue started his family with Jennifer Hageney. Together, they welcomed Nate, Aidan, and Wyatt.
His family was on the center of his life. He was a great family man when he was not working. In mid ‘90s, Shue balanced his career as an actor and a family man.
In the mid 2000s, Shue slowly left Hollywood, as he started to focus on his own passions. He co-founded CafeMom at the time.
He wanted to serve for social causes, where through the network, he wanted to help mothers.
As he made some public appearances, he attended at Planet Hollywood in New York in 2004 and at the Sundance Film Festival in 2006.
He also returned to the screens for a short while in 2007, where he co-write and starred in “Gracie.”
In 2010, Shue married Amy Robach. They brought their children from previous marriages, and created the family with their five children.
From 2011 to 2017, Shue stayed out of the spotlight, as he only appeared in big events. They were focused on their family as they would share moments from their family adventures.
In 2021, Shue talked about his career and said, “The world has changed now. It’s a lot tougher being a celebrity these days. The scrutiny is so much worse.”
As they were going great, Shue and Robach announced their split in 2022. After the rumors about Robach and her co-anchor T.J. Holmes’ affair, Shue and Robach divorced.
Later, Shue was seen with Marilee Fiebig, ex of T.J. Holmes, and their relationship became public.
