AN UPDATE FROM THE FLORIDA MAN WHO STRAPPED HIS HOME TO THE GROUND

Before the Hurricane Milton made landfall, a man from Florida, Pedro Caceres, had strapped his home down to the ground. This was a method he used back in Puerto Rico.

His daughter Raisa assisted her father while the man used military grade equipment to anchor his home to the ground.

When Raisa shared an update from her TikTok account, she shared that they received an only small damage from the storm, and that they were “very blessed” to survive it through.

@simplyuniquesmiles93 We made it through our second Hurricane and we are blessed to have no crazy damages to rhe home. My prayers still continue to those heavily affected during this time. Me and my dad are about to drive to see if anyone needs help🙏🫶🏼🏠#HurricaneMilton#CentralFL#Orlando#FLhomegoesviral#homestrappeddown#homedepot#lowes#USCC#cargocontrolstraps#acehardware#CNN#wash2news#spectrumnews#telemundo#univision#dailymail#abcnews#ukradiostation ♬ Inspirational – neozilla

Raisa shared that her father will do something with the straps to raise awareness of being prepared for the hurricanes to come, since Florida is a risky place in terms of storms.
