Maggie, Kyle and their son Ethan moved into a new house. After what Ethan experienced at school, his parents wanted a fresh start and they moved into a new state.
The house they moved into was belonged to a late man, Christopher. His daughter sold the house to the family, since it was hurting her to see the house empty.
On their second day in the new house, they found an old husky at their doorstep. The dog was old, and he had striking blue eyes. They thought he was belonged to their neighbour’s, and they gave him some food and water.
The dog kept coming for days, as he would wait for them at the porch. Ethan was happy as he always wanted a dog. Maggie and Kyle were thinking of getting him a dog, so they were happy too.
Ethan saw the dog’s name on his collar. It was “Christopher Jr.”
Then they realised that the dog was the owner of the house. He was the dog of the late owner of their house.
On the next day, the dog whined softly, and moved as if he wanted them to follow him. Ethan and Maggie decided to follow him into the woods. After twenty minutes of hiking, the dog stopped. There, the dog was looking at a pregnant fox, who got caught in a hunter’s snare.
The fox was weak, as she was lying on the ground. Maggie saved her while the dog watched them. The fox didn’t move at all. They then went back home, and Kyle took the fox to vet’s office.
The dog was also with them. The vet stated that the fox needed an urgent surgery. They waited while the vet operated on the fox.
After the successful operation, the fox kept howling until she saw Maggie. Thats when she stopped making sounds. The vet smiled, he stated that the fox knows who saved her.
They took Vixen the fox back to their house. The fox stayed in their back garden, and the dog protected them. The fox was trusting them so she was letting them touch to her babies. She gave birth to four tiny kits.
They went to the woods a day later. Ethan and Maggie built a proper den for the foxes. Whenever Ethan wanted, he would take Christopher Jr., and play with the foxes in the woods.
