Roger was a rich man. He never liked to see homeless people near his office. He noticed that the number of homeless people were raising with each passing year.
While he was passing next to a young woman, a different person gave the woman some money, and the woman smiled at that person. When Roger saw the homeless young lady’s warm smile, the warmth from her smile radiated towards his heart.
He immediately shot down with the feelings spread from his heart.
The rest of the week passed for Roger as he constantly thought about that woman. As he was leaving the building his office was in, he finally saw the woman at the end of the week. He rushed towards her and talked with the homeless woman.
He asked that if she would like to have a cup of coffee with him, and the woman smiled and nodded.
At the coffee store, Emma revealed her story.
She fell in love with a boy from her hometown, and she followed him in this city. As they tried, her boyfriend failed and abandoned her into poverty, and that led Emma to the streets, where she was left homeless.
She was too ashamed to go to police or talk to her parents, so she decided to find her own solution. She was on the streets for some moths.
That day, Roger took Emma to a bus station, and bought her a ticket. He then gave her $100, and told her that she shouldn’t be fooled by anyone anymore and sent her back to her home.
Few days later, Roger was sure that he fell in love with Emma, and decided to find her in her hometown. He drove to Idaho, and went into the Sheriff’s office. He asked where he can find Emma Hotlington, and explained the situation. The deputy took him to Emma’s parent’s laundromat.
A month later, they engaged. Emma returned to Los Angeles. But this time, she was going to marry the man she fell for.
