On the 26th of June, 17-year-old Ayden Beeson disappeared from the water he was swimming in. The event happened at Rathbun Lake. After the teenager went missing, Appanoose County Sheriff talked to press about the 911 call reporting the situation.
Appanoose County Water Rescue team worked along with the County Sheriff’s Office, but sadly, they only recovered the lifeless body of 17-year-old Beeson.
The rescue team revealed that the body of the teenager was found in 15 to 20 feet of depth.
Ayden Beeson was a popular teenager of the Centerville School District. He was a leader sportsman, and was voted as the Prom King.
“Such a great kid being lost in the prime of his life is just devastating for our community for the family and for the lives he was going to impact… He was nice to everybody uh really popular kid that everybody liked there wasn’t a single person in that school that he felt he couldn’t be nice to and kind to,” Superintendent Mark Taylor shared.
